House maid confesses to killing Mrs Igbinedion, Mother of Former Governor Igbinedion

Miss Dominion Okoro, a 25 years old girl, has confessed to killing Mrs Maria Igbinedion, the deceased mother of Chief Lucky Igbinedion, former governor of Edo State. The said Dominion Okoro worked as a house maid at the home of the late Mrs Igbinedion. 

Miss Okoro made this revelation while being paraded by the police at the Edo State police headquarters. 

She confessed that at about 12:01am on December 2nd, 2021, she sneak into her madam's room to steal her 100,000 naira, jewelries and watch. She noticed that her madam saw her and so she decided to hit her with a stool. 

In her words, “I killed Mama (Madam Maria Igbinedion) to carry her money. She did not offend me. While she was sleeping on her bed, around 12:01 a.m. on December 2, 2021, I used a stool to hit her on the head and she was shouting for help, but only the gateman was around and he did not hear the shout. Mama later died. I waited till 4 a.m. on December 2, 2021, before leaving the house with Mama’s N100,000, wristwatch, and jewelry. I escaped to Cross River State, but I was later arrested by the police.”

Our source reported that Dominion’s elder sister, Patience, was first arrested by the police before Dominion was later nabbed and moved to Benin for a thorough investigation.

    I keep wondering if the said killer girl is aware of the family she's working for? Like, a whole Igbinedion family/mother?

‘Sins of the flesh’ aren’t that ‘serious’ - Pope Francis

 Pope Francis has stated that lust is not the worst of the deadly sins. As earlier reported by New York Post, the highly revered religious leader stated that there are worse indiscretions than sex outside marriage. This followed the resignation of Michel Aupetit, the Archbishop of Paris, who quit after his relationship with a woman was made public.  According to the Pope, “It was a failing against the sixth commandment (You shall not commit adultery) but not a total one, one of small caresses, massage given to his secretary — that is what the accusation is,”  He also added, in reference to the action of Michel Aupetit  “There is a sin there but not the worst kind.” Pride and hatred, according to Pope Francis are top transgressions instead.       Pope Francis .
